mealtime.

Connor:

1. doesn't like to sleep. he fights it even though he's so tired. i've learned to trick him. if we try to put him to sleep by putting him in bed, he starts whining. if we try to put him to sleep while rocking him, he starts to whine. he knows we're trying to put him to sleep. if i hold him upright and stand there in the dark, he thinks i'm just holding him and not trying to put him to sleep. i stand there for a few minutes and his head starts bobbing because he's dozing off.

2. sleeps through the night. he sleeps later now, around 9ish and wakes up between 5 and 6. yay!

3. had his first real sit down meal. we've been letting him try things here and there, but we sat down for the first time in his high chair and had some congee (jook). he loves it.

i think i like stripes on Connor. i've noticed a lot of his clothes are striped. or maybe it's because stripes are in and that's all they sell. actually, i like this outfit best on him. what do you think?


on a side note, did you read about the separated twins that got married and didn't know they were related? sad, yet sick.
