javier's vs. taco rosa.

(singing) i feel pretty, oh so pretty. hubby makes me happy. he does these little things that make my day go by smoother. i don't know if he does it on purpose, but i'd like to think that he does it for me. for example, when the toothpaste is almost gone empty, he squeezes it to the end so it's nice and ready for me to use.

we rarely get one-on-one time these days so i thought i'd surprise him yesterday by dropping by for lunch. he took me out to taco rosa. taco rosa and javier's are some good mexican restaurants in irvine. they use quality ingredients and are worth the price. i can't say i like one place over the other because they each have their strengths.

taco rosa: lobster and lump crab tacos, & alambre quesadillas.
