happy valentine's day, everyone.

i thought i had already received my v-day gift a few days early, but i guess i was wrong. what's my type of v-day gift you ask? courtside basketball tix. very romantic, i say. most of you probably think otherwise unless you're a guy.

this valentine's is special to me because every year life becomes more hectic and there's less time to enjoy days like this. meaning no time for buying gifts. no time to go out to dinner. this year i hadn't planned anything nor did i get him anything so i didn't expect anything to the point where my gift was sitting on the desk in plain view for a couple of days and i didn't even know it was for me. i got something that was much needed, a day at the spa.


i feel so horrible for not doing anything for him, but he insists that me not spending any money is the perfect valentine's day gift. just curious, do any of you girls buy anything for your significant other for v-day or is it just the guys that do something?

thanks auntie for spending time with the little ones. the big one really misses you and always asks when you're coming over. he thinks you're his friend. i can see why since you share the same mental age :P
