got a little lazy this thanksgiving and cheated. i usually cheat with the turkey. i "heat" the turkey since we get one at honeybaked every year. i underestimated the bad economy this year and thought that there was going to be plenty. there were no lines as i drove by it a few days before thanksgiving so i thought there wasn't a demand. when i finally went on tuesday they were apparently out for a while, the reason there were no lines. i started to scramble and luckily found one at another location. this year's thanksgiving was simple: turkey, beef brisket, mashed potatoes and gravy, sauteed mushrooms and onions, green bean casserole (courtesy of lil' TIT), dinner rolls, ham, oven roasted asparagus (courtesy of pioneer woman) and deviled eggs.

only will the in laws allow such monstrosity. most kids eat from plastic. he gets to join in on the adults and also share the crystalware.apple juice.
the fobby little man had an array of food to choose from but he insisted on demanding noo-rung-ji (toasted rice soup?). this is at least his meal once a day. i don't get the taste. am i too american? it tastes bland. they say it's "go-so-hae", whatever that means. here are the 2 fobs fighting over a spoonful of noo-rung-ji.
went with the family to big bear to check out some fresh snow. we took Connor last year but i'm pretty sure he doesn't have any recollection. he definitely enjoyed it this year. it was just way too cold to be playing in the snow. it was freezing point up there at 32 degrees farenheit. we timed it perfectly because when we got there they weren't requiring chains but we were leaving as another snowstorm was about to come."help mommy! i'm stuck."

mommy to the rescue.

seems like my hair is getting lighter or the contrast with the whiteness is really bringing the color out.

3 generations of lee men.
got some scenery in. a winter wonderland.

on our way down the mountain, we needed to relieve the little guy. not his bladder, but his energy. after sitting in the car for so long, he couldn't take it. he was running around so much that he eventually fell.

so fresh and so clean. after bath.

Yeah, we went to Honey baked ham and ordered the Ham a week in advance. Figured I wouldn't find one if I just went to the store on the day before Thanksgiving. Spent mine in vegas with george's family. Looks like you had a blast this Thanksgiving! Yummy food, play in the snow @ Big Bear, etc...he is growing up so fast too! Love the very last picture of him. He looks content=) Oh, I'm so sorry that you don't like Noo rung jee. It's so freggin good!!! hahaha funny how Connor has a fobby diet. His future wife better know how to make good noo rung jee!
