doctor visit.

long overdue update. have been in pain for a few weeks now, getting worse. my bruxism has been catching up to me. my teeth have been tingling, giving me headaches, and making my jaw stiff. as a result, i finally went to the dentist and he suggested that i remove my wisdom tooth which has been causing inflammation to my gums, which in turn has been contributing more to my pain from grinding my teeth. he then suggested that i get my gums deep cleaned which i was under anesthesia. then he told me just to take 3 advils. other people are getting vicodin!

anyhow, NOW the teeth around it hurt. i still have headaches. my gums are sore. and my bottom left-side of lip and chin are numb. i think he touched a nerve. this is 2 days after i've extracted my wisdom. i called him back and he suggests i go to an oral surgeon. not too happy, nor healthy at this point.

in other news... Connor just went to the doctor's for his Hep A vaccine. he was crying the minute they started weighing him and measuring him. he knew it was coming. poor guy. i had to hold his arms, while grandma was holding one leg and the doctor was holding the other leg while putting his shot. talk about a strong boy.

stats:
weight - 29 lbs. 14 oz. (70%)
height - 35" (70%)
head - i don't know he was crying too much. made me lose focus, but i'm pretty sure it's big.

we're slowing trying potty training. he pees in a cup. i've gotten him to pee every morning but sometimes he goes in the middle of the night. i still keep him in diapers. and he also pees when he goes in the shower/bath. he refuses to go during the day.

he's beyond obsessed with balloons. people are sending me pictures of balloons because they think of Connor when they see balloons. it's so sweet of you guys that you think about him. he gets free balloons everyday now at party city. he even won't let go of it when he sleeps. we know that he's fallen asleep when we see the balloon hit the ceiling.

auntie Susan got Connor an early birthday gift and a musical birthday card.

he was dancing to the musical card. yes, that's dancing.

when he opened the gift, he saw the balloons on the doodle pro and that was enough to get him excited.

Connor drawing balloons.

Connor practicing spelling his name. he hasn't quite got the "R" down.

he's saying 'oh no!' from UP these days.
