it was patriot's/grandparents' day at school so grandparents were invited as students sang patriot songs and showed off their classrooms to family.

girls are so different. even in class as i volunteer, i notice that the girls obey the teacher with such enthusiasm. they draw pictures and make notes to the teacher telling them how great they are. with boys, you're lucky if they sit quietly. Connor already dislikes (hate is such a strong word) school. he even cried for a week because he didn't want to go. he dreads it come sunday night. boy, you have such a long ways to go.
