mini vacay with the twins.

so we took a mini vacay with the twins to san diego. we first checked in at the sheraton suites then decided to grab a drink to unwind while the kids get their normal fix of fries.

then once the kims arrived it was off to dinner where the kids can be kids. no not chuck e. cheese, but dick's last resort. kids enjoyed it immensely and it was easy for the parents because they could do whatever they want... literally. they were making spitballs and shooting ice bits at us, they were throwing napkins, yelling, etc.

 

then it was back to the hotel for some late night indoor swimming. this was the latest they've ever stayed up. they pretty much knocked out afterwards. it was mommy time afterwards. i bought this to-go wine that came in pretty handy and tasted decent.

next morning it was off to sea world. Vivi's first. she had fun needless to say.

midway through she passed out.

there was also bromance.

then it was back home. i love to hate these things, but they are lifesavers on long drives.
