field trip.

some days i take it for granted, but days like this make me realize that i'm lucky to have someone (that i trust) watch over the little one so i can spend quality time with the big one. i know many parents who are busy earning a living or just plain can't go because they don't have someone to watch over their little ones.

so Connor's first ride on the school bus was like a disneyland ride to him. he was so excited and giddy.

then it was off to our first stop... the local grocery store. i don't get it. i still don't get it. lil TIT said it was one of the best experiences she had when she was little. yes, they did show us stocking area, inside where they baked the bread, the butchers cutting the meat, etc. I think it's because she didn't have self checkout back then. Connor was a pro because he always does it when we go to the store.

our 2nd stop was more like it. the local fire department. now this Connor was excited about it.

class pic.

so they got to play with the hose (something he does at home everyday) but it was quite funny when the fireman asked Connor which hand he plays baseball with, which hand he throws the ball. he asked this so he could position Connor in the right direction. Connor takes a second and replies, "i don't play baseball."
