christmas.

these were the outtakes.

and this ended up being our christmas card. in hindsight i think i like the collage.
our tree this year.

with santa at a school event. with a better backdrop i think the santa would have made a good santa for pictures but it came out pretty sorry.

then there was Connor's first school performance where they sang, "Up on the Housetop". boy is so stinking tall, they put him in the back :( he looks a bit frightened at first not knowing what's going on.

then came the real deal. christmas. it seemed like Vivi was waiting for forever.

Connor got all his favorite gifts, spiders, spiders, and more spider toys. Connor also got a gift from daddy which i think could've waited ten years. why? because he'll probably take it out and start dribbling it right now. a signed basketball from blake griffin.

i think it was last year that Connor finally got the idea of christmas. he was 4. Vivi already caught on. and she's not even 2. she was excited opening gifts. well, this one gift came along and... you see for yourself.

so hubby got Vivi a mini because Connor has one. so you ask, what does a one year old know?!! apparently one year olds know what an ipad is... and they sure as hell know how to use one too.

and it wouldn't be christmas if ALL the kids didn't get toys. i got him a retro atari console with the original games. how fitting, in the kids' playroom, on an old school tv.
