it wasn't a vacation.

annual business trip to vegas meant relaxing, shopping, and eating. it happened last year, but +1 and bad timing, it wasn't so great. since this was Vivi's first road trip, we prepared. we brought lots of snacks and brought movies to keep her entertained and even timed her nap. the trip there... too good to be true.

1st stop. shopping at primm. mission accomplished.

next, check in.

dinner. wicked spoon. it's not so much a waste that i have to pay for Connor since his sister eats more than him and she's free.

 

this family doesn't do bananas. lol.

 

then it was downhill from here. she practically threw up everything she ate. wicked spoon was a waste.

next day, the kids didn't look 100% but i wasn't letting the day go to waste. the sole reason for Connor wanting to go to vegas was for the shark reef aquarium. the place isn't that huge but he could be there all day. he just stared at the octopus for 20 minutes. his sister was over it.

orange juice by the wine glass and french fries. the life for the kids.

later i took them swimming. cocktails.

 look at Connor's rolls. aren't they cute?!! hot dog i chopped up with ketchup poolside.

 

 then it was excalibur in the evening for some games. Connor, this will be the only time mommy will allow you on a motorcycle... especially with the way you ride.

the day was long and the kids began to act up. sweet and innocent Vivi ain't so sweet and innocent.

the kids survived the day with much fun, but the next day i paid for it. Connor woke up with a fever and the rest of the day was shot. i had planned swimming, shopping and circus circus.

i wasn't going to allow MY vacation go to waste. i knew we weren't going to be in vegas long, so i had hubby stay with Connor in the hotel while i went shopping with Vivi. then i bribed hubby to take the kids to circus circus at least for a little bit. i told him the endorphins would make Connor feel better.

our schedule had us leaving the following day but we decided to call it a wrap and left that night while the kids slept the whole way. we thought it would be best for all of us. rip vegas.
