valentine's.

so one by one, Connor is learning about holidays and they are becoming fun for mom to watch him experience. at school they had a valentine's party and if we were interested in bringing valentine's cards for his classmates just to address it to "my friend'. it brought back memories of those little cards that you handed out that said, 'be mine', 'you're groovy', etc. i remember kids back then that didn't get one if they were hated on. why didn't teachers back them make sure everyone got one? they let kids get singled out. but then again look at teachers now.

i had lil' TIT help me out and decided to go with little favor boxes and put a bunch of little stuff in it. lil' TIT thought i was going overboard but it was my first time so i wanted him as much as his classmates to enjoy it. we ended up putting little pop tarts, starburst, skittles, straws, glow bracelets, stickers, and lollipops in it. turns out i didn't go too overboard. i also had him kiss ass and give his teachers a rose chocolate.

little guy got his sparring gear and will begin sparring in the coming week. he's pumped and can't wait. i didn't realize how little he still was until he put on his gear.
