happy 5 months.

meet the drama queen.

she's giving me a run for my money. talk about an AB. we went to the dr. for her vaccinations. we got the rest of her set. Just like Connor we split it up. she was originally suppose to get 4 + an edible two weeks ago, but we gave her 2 + edible then and then following up today with the remaining two. when she got into the dr. office she started giving a sad face. then when we started taking her stats, she began to cry. when we put her on the exam table, she hit the point of no return. she began wailing and didn't stop till 30 minutes after her shots. she was crying more out of anger than the physical pain because she would stop crying and then she thought about it and i guess it upset her so she would start crying more. so different from Connor, i tell you.

i don't think her stats changed much since 2 weeks ago but i wasn't able to pay attention since i was occupied with trying to calm her down.

two weeks ago, she was:
height - 25.25 in. (75%)
weight - 15.25 lbs. (75%)
head - 50%

her head is smaller in proportion to her body. she sure doesn't look like it but i guess it's a good thing for a girl to have a small head/face. maybe her head is small, but her face is big. dr. did mention that we should flip her over/give her more tummy time. i guess her head is getting flat.

1. she's eating less than Connor did at this age. 25 - 30 ounces a day.
2. she's moving around slowly in her walker.
3. she doesn't like to be put down anymore (lying flat or sitting in the stroller). she wants to sit propped up or wants to be carried upright so she can see everything going on.
4. she complains when she's not happy.
5. i'm letting her suck on an apple but am getting jan-sori for it because everyone is afraid she's not going to drink milk. she gets mighty upset when i take it away.
6. sleeping through the night. hallelujah. she sleeps around 9ish and wakes up around 7. i should feed her once through the night but sometimes i get so tired that she doesn't eat the whole night through. i try to stay up until 12/1 to feed her at least once through the night.
7. madly drooling, but no teeth, yet.
8. she's definitely a little behind in the physical part. she hates tummy time and doesn't do it for long before she gets upset.
9. she's faster in the emotional/mental part than Connor. she definitely knows strangers and know she likes and dislikes.
10. pulls mommy's necklace and yanks my mouth wide open when gets grip when she's trying to fall asleep. Connor use to pull my hair.
