Vivian was due for induction at 6:00 am on Friday, January 7, 2011. it was decided the day before because the doctor said that she didn't think i could make it to the hospital if my contractions started since i was already close to 4 cm dilated on my visit the day before. dr. bohn said she wouldn't be surprised if i was to come in that evening so we decided we didn't want to take chances since we recently moved further from la.

turns out that the dr. was right. my contractions started on the evening of the 6th so we head out to the hospital and admitted at 11:30 pm. i knew from the beginning these children had a mind of their own. they both refuse to be told what to do. Connor was the same and Vivian as well. they both chose when they were going to be born. we thought we were going to have her soon but then she decided to toy with us and made us wait a bit. just when we thought we were going to have to wait longer, daddy did his baby dance (literally) and apparently she was moments from her debut and i didn't even know it. let's just say that the epidural worked really well. the doctor came to check up on me and she said the baby was almost out and told me not to push because she wanted to put her gloves on. i literally pushed twice. once for the baby's head and the second for her body.

Vivian Seung Hee Lee arrived on January 7, 2011 at 12:26 pm, weighing 6 lbs. 14.9 oz. and at a height of 19.5 in. she like Connor is AB blood type, the only thing they have in common with me. they both look like daddy.
