updates on growing. so when we went to the urgent care last weekend they weighed him at about 35 lbs. the other stats were not recorded. Connor picks up everything these days. you tell him once and he's pretty much got it except when you tell him not to do things. he's been having fun directing traffic these days. he tells me when i drive when the lights are green to go, red to stop, and yellow is slow. he's also hacked into my computer and somehow changed the keyboard keys, desktop settings, etc. he also calls his auntie at 6:45 in the morning twice. somehow he unlocks my phone and dials her number. he's also deleted apps on my ipod. so he is officially banned from playing with my toys now.

ditched work 1/2 day yesterday to take the little guy to huntington library. i went once before and it was a mistake to take him at that early age. not only was it hard but it was pointless for him. yesterday was perfect. he was well-behaved and enjoyed mommy and me time. we ended up staying for 3 1/2 hours.

made him stand next to a cactus which is why he may be giving me that look. he kept on saying that it was thorny but i told him to stand still and not move.

picked a great spot in the shade next to the lily pond where we had a little picnic. it was so hot.


then he ran some more.

then cooled down with some lemonade in a coffee cup. they didn't have lids for their cups so i asked for a coffee cup with a lid and poured his pink lemonade into it. he said he was drinking coffee. he enjoyed pretending.
