ditched work 1/2 day yesterday to take the little guy to huntington library. i went once before and it was a mistake to take him at that early age. not only was it hard but it was pointless for him. yesterday was perfect. he was well-behaved and enjoyed mommy and me time. we ended up staying for 3 1/2 hours.
made him stand next to a cactus which is why he may be giving me that look. he kept on saying that it was thorny but i told him to stand still and not move.
enjoyed looking at nature.geese.

lizards.

frogs.
turtles.
what's he looking at?

fish.
lots of 'em.
picked a great spot in the shade next to the lily pond where we had a little picnic. it was so hot.

then he ran some more.

then cooled down with some lemonade in a coffee cup. they didn't have lids for their cups so i asked for a coffee cup with a lid and poured his pink lemonade into it. he said he was drinking coffee. he enjoyed pretending.
then ran some more.

mainly chasing after this guy.
then relaxed a bit more.
goofball.

Great shots June! Didn't know they had frogs and turtles there! Kids are so fast these days with technology! Can't believe the little one can figure out how to use the itouch and the cell phone when some adults can't even figure it out! Smart boy. I can sense Connor to be my personal Apple IT guy in the near future=) Bet he slept well that night!! lol *snooooooore*
