ditch day: accomplished.

lil TIT is on spring break so she's at home. wanted to spend a day with her nephew so i took the day off.

1st stop: dentist office.
i cannot praise these guys enough. although i have yet to have him get a cleaning. they make him feel so comfortable. so kid friendly. they weren't even ready and he was already opening his mouth for it to be checked. no cavities! yay!

2nd stop: irvine spectrum.
had to kill time because fukada wasn't open yet. bought some shorts for Connor at old navy while the two kids played. Connor thinks lil TIT is his age. i don't blame him. she sure does act like it.
he sure does love her. too bad she doesn't spend much time with him.

3rd stop: fukada.
Connor's favorite udon place. too bad he had a minor stomach ache that prevented him from enjoying it this time. haven't tried it? you must!

4th stop: laguna beach.
i have this usual spot that i go to since my college days. i've taken everyone there. it's deteriorated over the years. the sand isn't what it used to be. the cliffs are closed off for safety reasons. there are warning signs posted everywhere for people not to remove creatures from the tide pools. probably because of people like us (you know what i'm talking about, Susan).

memories of hawaii came back to haunt me. Connor refused to touch the sand. he doesn't mind if he has shoes on but he hates it when it touches his feet. they were seeping into his crocs.



some bonuses for ekim.



5th stop: south coast.
went all out shopping for Connor's clothes. did some damage at paul frank. more at h&m. only h&m that i know that carries kid's is at south coast. he then rode the carousel 3x and of course had to buy a balloon. bought a happy meal with ice cream for the little kiddies.

6th stop: costco.
grocery shopping. long day, but productive and fun day.
