finally, both of us are much better. now the old man is sick, but poor thing is on his way to georgia again for a business trip.
this weekend i still coerced him to do a few things i wanted to get done.
1. buy Connor some uggs. check. love uggs on kids. so cute.
2. buy a christmas tree. check.
3. go see santa. check.
4. put up lights. check. although fil is the one that did this.
i know i'm a slave driver considering he's sick but it had to be done this weekend.
we did go see santa but it was a total failure. kia had an event this past weekend. of all the people there, i was excited for Connor to get his picture taken with Santa. they had an mini ice rink set up, free food, free pics with Santa, autograph sessions with james worthy and bill walton. we went no where near santa. he wasn't having it and i had him all dressed up :(
this year setting up the tree was different. i usually put up the ornaments with mil, but the little guy decided to keep me company while i did so. he definitely didn't help but made more work for me. while i was putting up the ornaments, he decided to pull the pines from the tree, break a few ornaments, and put some in his mouth (why? i don't know. he should've already grown out of this stage.) i had to put all the fragile ornaments up out of his reach. the plastics ones i put at the bottom. the tree, as a result, looks a bit lopsided but 'oh well'.

Yay!!! you got your tree afterall=) Just take the lil one to the mall for a pix with Santa but go early in the morning right when the mall opens so you can still find parking! Maybe next year, you can video the boy putting up the ornaments on his own!

so... where is the picture of the christmas tree?... i'm glad you and conner are feeling better but bundle up none the less. don't forget the scarfs and gloves. =)
