thankful.

was having a bad day yesterday. in the middle of the day i thought my day was going pretty bad and that it couldn't have been worse. turns out i was wrong. either way, i'm grateful.

was driving home on the 60 driving about 60, ready to get off when i see this semi kick a 2 foot log. it was slow-mo from here. i see it flying headed in my direction. i use my peripheral to see if i can change lanes. looks like i'm surrounded and have no where to go unless i ram into someone. by now it's right in front of me so i close my eyes and turn my body to the side. this is what i got:

it doesn't look too bad from the outside, but it was very close from penetrating the window. on the inside there was glass shattered everywhere. there were pieces of glass on my face and very little cuts on my hand. i couldn't be more thankful i was able to go home and see Connor.
