happy easter.

almost just let easter pass but grandma made the most of it for Connor. way back before i was married i was a real good christian. now i'm not so proud of myself. i used to celebrate the real reason for easter. then i just celebrated easter as a mainstream holiday. i did the eggs and stuff like that for my lil' TIT and hubby. then she grew up and went to college and i got married. that doesn't mean i had to stop doing it for them, but it looked like they were getting old of it. then came along Connor and i feel he's a little too young to appreciate it now. i'm thinking by next year i can do hunts and decorating and all that good stuff. not only that, maybe we can also start going to church, too.

so assuming that easter would just pass, grandma surprised Connor (and me) with an easter basket full of goodies. packed with all his favorites (and one in particular of mine) were: chocolate, gummies (bear and life savors), dvds, peanuts (yes, he is a ddang-kong lover, like his momma), and cash (my favorite).

we then took him to the playground.

this is his grandma trying to convince him to join her on the modern day see-saw. she seems like she's enjoying herself. needless to say, he wasn't convinced.

going down the slide almost by himself.

another day at the park.

he looks like such a big boy here.

found some dandelions. he actually didn't step on them, probably because i showed him how to blow on them.

went to go see the cows. nice thing about chino hills is that you don't need to go far nor pay admission to see animals. you just need to make sure you roll the windows up in the car and close the air vents. we did this way in advance before we even got near the cows and yet i guess the little particles still sneaked in. hubby was having an allergic reaction. we also found a small air museum. Connor enjoyed viewing the "bi" (airplanes).

that's adorable. you know, i bet when he grows up he'll remember in the recesses of his mind what he did for his 2nd easter.
