1st dental visit.

back by popular demand... updates.

view from chino hills after the past storm.

tub time. i bought some bath crayons and we draw all over the tub.

Connor had his first dental visit today. last week we noticed that Connor had some dark stuff stuck in his molars. i tried to brush it out thinking it was his purples vitamins but i had no luck. assuming it was a cavity i made an appointment with a pediatric dentist my mil found. she found a good pediatrician for Connor and this time she was really successful, as well. if you're in need of one let me know. the place is really kid friendly and the dentist is really good with kids. i told hubby about the trip and he asked if he can go get treatment there. they have monitors attached to each treatment chair where the kids can watch movies. they played happy feet for him. they also had video games attached to them for the bigger kids. when the dentist came out he wanted to make sure he didn't scare Connor. he brought this huge toy toothbrush with a large stuffed crocodile animal. he showed Connor how to brush the crocodile's teeth and asked Connor to brush his teeth, too. then he counted the crocodile's teeth and then asked me if he could count my teeth (in which i had no choice but obliging). then he asked Connor if he could count his teeth and Connor wanted to partake in the action so he obliged, as well. the dentist counted 16 teeth. i've been negligent. i thought he had like 10. then the dentist eased his way in and checked out his teeth. it turns out that he has "stains" that aren't a concern. no cavity. Connor has crevices that are deeper than your average. so his next visit is in 6 months. it should be a breeze coming back unlike his pediatricians, in which the minute he sees her he freaks out and tries to make a bolt.

afterwards we went to the original pancake house. i don't really like pancakes but i guess this place is ok. others may like it more but pancakes aren't my thing. i've tried:

apple.
dutch baby.
chocolate chip pancakes, potato pancakes, 49'er flap jacks, and some eggs, omelettes... not all in one sitting. they're ALL rich, sweet and huge.

Connor doesn't like pancakes either. he eats bacon and apple juice. he's so like me.
