new habits.

1. i was worried that a new habit was forming. i found a recorder lying around the house and he loved it. it was a new toy for him, but he never became overprotective of a toy like he did with the recorder. i've seen it in all kids. they have something they like and they won't share. i took it from him to see what he'd do and he started screaming. i asked for it politely and he attempted to hand it over to me but wouldn't let go of it. basically, i can touch it but can't take it from him. the only problem was that i had to take it from him. he was banging on the windows with it, hitting grandma and me with it.

2. grandpa was the first to get kisses from him. he now gives kisses, but they're a bit slobbery. he does it with his mouth open.

3. we're at it again. it took us 4 different types of formula to get it right. one that he could stomach and would drink. now it's time for regular milk and he won't drink it. i've bought organic milk and he won't drink it. so i called the pediatrician and she told me to try enfamil next step. he won't drink that either so she told me try just regular whole milk. he won't drink that either. i think we're close to succeeding right now. i've decided to try my own method and give him regular milk with sugared cereal in it. he's drinking a bit of it because it's sweet but not much. i hope that he likes it and i'll start taking away the cereal.

i bought some crackers and treats from graduates and he loves it.
