sf trip.

so we arrived in sf late saturday evening and checked in to the hilton financial district hotel off of priceline. i definitely recommend it, however, i suggest that you familiarize yourself with the area you are going to and make it as last minute as possible. we booked our room for that evening before we left home which was about 8 hours before. the hotel was considered a 4-star and we booked it for $79. average prices for the room on a saturday was about $160.

was the hilton worth it?
all-in-all, no.
why?
bad service. overnight parking cost $42. loud neighbors.
so why do i still recommend priceline?
it really didn't have anything to do with priceline. the hotel had bad management.
the pros?
the view of the bay was nice.

we then drove around sf. golden gate, presidio, and fisherman's wharf.

we then headed to sonoma valley for the olive festival. this was our original reason for heading up north. we both like olives. too bad we were late. there was only one hour left so we decided to skip it. we did go wine tasting. (i meant he.)

we had dinner at this restaurant in sonoma. it's a little french place called, 'the girl and the fig'. it was definitely so worth it. highly recommended.

we then booked our room again on priceline a few hours before we checked in to the marriott napa which was 20 minutes away from sonoma. this place was worth $69. quiet, comfy, good service.

i realized my belly had grown quite a bit within the past few days so i took a pic.

so we decided to stop by hubby's school before we headed down home. he took me to a hot dog stand he used to frequent, top dog. i wanted to get a sweater that i saw this student wear, but they didn't have it at the bookstore so instead we picked this up.

in the middle of nowhere where there's a bunch of cows, there's this place called harris ranch. it smells like chino hills on the outside but they serve some major beef. i had their prime rib. it was quity meaty and fresh since they probably hacked the cow literally in their backyard, but it lacked the flavor. they have good cookies in their bakery, though.

yes, that's pretty much all i did... eat. someone's gotta feed the baby.

nice jacket mademoiselle. wait a minute. it should be nice for all its worth. of course i'd expect gizmos and gadgets to pop out, but that works too.

i want to frequent top dog too. in my pajamas on the way to class. oh how lovely that would be.

no no no. i will frequent it from palo alto...get my drift.

big belly for you. big belly for me. some kid at school told me i should get a membership at 24 fitness. that kid is no longer physically capable of going to 24 because of that comment.
