what i can't stand.

one of my staff asks me today, 'so what's up with the nuclear testing?'

i say, 'you tell me.' pretending not to know what the hell he's talking about. i've already figured that since he knows i'm korean, he's associating me with the north koreans.

he then proceeds, 'aren't you korean? isn't that where you're from?'

i reply, 'no, i'm american.' then i go on, 'i can't stand ignorant people who don't know that north korea is a communist regime and that it's shut off from the rest of the world and that it's impossible i could have come from there. my ethnic background is korean and my family's from the south. but of course, the british, polish, irish, dutch, german, italian are all the same because they're white, right?' (he's quite proud that he's italian and not the others.)

he replys, 'ok.'

no, it's not that time of the month. but please, educate yourself.
