tuesday was ditch day. i took half the day and went golfing with my pappy. since i've been taking lessons these days, pappy wanted to take me out to the field. i've only been like 3x in my life or so. i always get intimidated when i get on the field. on the range, i'm so consistent. so anyhow, it was quite a day. we went to los coyotes country club.

when we got there, pappy bought me a driver since i needed one. this is what i got.
notice that the plastic is still on. i played with it on. pappy said it didn't matter. it really didn't. (i'm the type of person that leaves the screen protector vinyl on my phone, pda, etc. for a while.) i took it off when i got back to the range yesterday to save myself from embarrassment. for any of you ladies that golf, i recommend this to you: callaway women's x460 driver.
we then proceed to play. on the 2nd or 3rd hole my shoe fell apart. it was an old shoe that was in good condition, or at least that's what i thought. but i guess the glue was so old it just made the sole fall off.

i flip-flopped the rest of the first 9. i couldn't walk into the golf shop cuz i was embarrassed so pappy told me to just take my shoes off. the funny part is walking in the golf shop with only socks on felt less embarrassing that walking in with a retarded shoe. so i went in wearing socks. i only had 2 choices to select from. both are from footjoy. i wanted some nikes, but they didn't have any.

so i went with the bottom one.
at that point, pappy was like, 'is there anything else you need?!!'
golfing has given me a new reason to go shopping. shopping for new clubs, new clothes, new bag, etc.
