podiatrists stink.

SHITE* i can't stand this damn tenant. if you don't already know, i manage this property that houses medical facilities. since this one tenant moved in 3 months ago, he has been wreaking havoc on me. actually, it started before he even moved in. from day 1 he has been nagging and nagging about every little thing. and he's so damn indecisive. can you imagine an indesicive doctor? scary thought, huh? everything is wrong with this guy.

1. he's like in his 50's and he's not married, nor has he ever been. he doesn't have a girlfriend either. his employees claim it's cuz he's too cheap.

2. his sister plays the role of his wife. she comes every so often and harrasses me claiming that she has to stick up for her brother because he can't take care of himself. he's in his 50's. he's a grown adult, for heaven's sake. i say INCEST.

3. he's a foot doctor.

4. he wears a toupe. i want to knock that thing off his head. (i'm a little biased.)

5. he picked the color purple for his walls in his office. PSYCHO. and no, he's not gay.

things he does to annoy the living CACA out of me:

1. he's claimed already 3 times that something was stolen from his office. he accuses my staff of a.) stealing money, b.) stealing a check that is already made out to us, and c.) stealing some keys. first of all, i have never had a complaint that money was stolen from any of the other 21 tenants here. in addition, why the hell would my staff steal his office keys? they have the freakin' master. i think his employees stole the money and have issues misplacing things.

2. he picked two shades of purple for different offices. can you tell the difference? i can't. but he insisted that it be 2 shades and he wanted to see the receipt for it.

3. in the morning, it's almost like he waits for me to get in. he sees me and he doesn't even say, GOOD MORNING, nor does he say, HELLO. he says, JANE (doesn't even get my name right), LET ME SHOW YOU SOMETHING. it's either a blind that has a spot on it because the housekeeping people wiped it down with a dirty rag, or to complain that something is missing (that suddenly reappears out of no where), or to request that we put up his wall decor (something that we don't do for tenants), etc. etc.

4. he repeats the same thing over and over again. (even as i write this, he came by my office again to talk about the issue today. see below.)

5. TODAY'S ORDEAL: apparently, one of the blinds fell and ALMOST hit his patient. i felt bad and said we were sorry. luckily, the patient wasn't injured. i felt sympathetic, and offered to try to screw the blinds into the structure to help prevent it from occuring again. he then proceeded to put the blame on us. i don't know if you know yet, but i'm not very customer-oriented. there was nothing we could have done to prevent it. it was an ACCIDENT. he then said, I SUGGEST TO PREVENT FROM THIS HAPPENING AGAIN, YOU SCREW THE BLINDS INTO THE STRUCTURE. so i decide to correct him and say, THAT WAS OUR SUGGESTION. he then said that we should screw all of them in so this never happens again. he then proceeds to explain to me a DUMB example and says that a cop got hit by a psychiatrist at an intersection (why a COP and why a PSYCHIATRIST? i don't know. it had no relevance.) so the cop breaks his femur (no importance there either) and gets it patched up. he's all better now so what does he do to prevent this from happening again? he says he's careful and doesn't make the same mistake that he did in the intersection. so you know what i say? THAT DOESN'T PREVENT AN ACCIDENT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. THAT'S WHY THEY'RE CALLED ACCIDENTS.
